About the IFS certificate
Mlekara Šabac meets global standards of product quality and safety, which earned it the IFS Food certificate – the highest certificate in food production, issued by the Quality Austria certification company. This is Mlekara’s second certificate from the group of global GFSI standards, as it holds FSSC 22000 for almost a decade now, thanks to which it is the largest exporter of high-quality dairy products from Serbia to markets from Russia, across Europe, to America.
“Meeting IFS standards and obtaining certificates, with the highest rating, is an added value for our company because it opens us the doors of global retail chains from Spar, through Carrefour, to Aldi, METRO Cash & Carry, Tesco, and others, but also for consumers. On the one hand, we showed how much our employees are aware of their contribution and responsibility for the safety and quality of our dairy products, in accordance with global practice, and on the other hand, that commitment to consumers around the world is the main guide and source of inspiration for each new project“, said Radenka Golubović, Senior Manager for IMS and Quality control at Mlekara Šabac.
